The Washington Square Minyan is an independent congregation, guided by halacha and following the traditional liturgy. The Minyan is committed to creating spirited and spiritual davening and community in a family-friendly atmosphere. Services are egalitarian, with full participation by men and women. Men and women sit separately without a mechitza.
The Washington Square Minyan meets every week, alternating between Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. Friday nights are at Hebrew Senior Life, 112 Centre Street, Brookline, Massachusetts. Saturday mornings we meet in the Community Room at Hebrew Senior Life, 1550 Beacon Street, Brookline, Massachusetts. The minyan also hosts community events and holiday programming.
